Description
Astrophytum capricorne is native to northern mexico and has several interesting characteristics. One is the white “flocking”, or markings on the body. Another is the spine-arrangement atop the plant body, which has the appearance of a “wild hair day” or a birds nest. And finally, there is the color predisposition, which can be mostly a dark grey/green, and ranging to varying degrees of red and yellow.
