Description
Aeonium balsamiferum has a shrub-like growth pattern, eventually developing multiple rosettes, exuding a balsamiferous scent. During the extreme heat of summer, the rosettes close tightly, and look exactly like green rose-buds, only to open again as the weather cools down. Yellow flowers. Indigenous to the canary islands.
